STTS sensor safety mat

The STTS safety mat system is a hi-tech prototype pressure sensitive/presence-contact sensing safety mat system. Its features meet and exceed both domestic and international safety standards. Its hi-tech design is technologically sophisticated and sets a world class standard in its field.

Demonstrations have shown that the STTS safety may system withstands the puncturing of nails and shooting with a .357 magnum. (Of course, we don't recommend that you try that.)

STTS Soft Tactile Transducer Sensor Technology:
This type of technology supplies information concerning the allocation and extent of physical power applied to its surface. It continually measures the tangible forces of pressure. The tactile sensing for this apparatus is comparable to the human sense of touch. The quantity and allocation of tactile pressure over a surface can be received and transmitted. At the time an object makes contact with the sensing device, the tangible sensing supplies the necessary information concerning the object's shape, consistency, location, orientation, deformation, center of mass, and the existence of torque or slippage. The factory should be contacted if you require unusual needs or distinctive applications for the technology.

Why the STTS Safety Mat is Safest:
  • Unique Pulsed Mat Monitoring- Safety mats are constantly pulsed and homerun wired back to the safety relay regulator. This provides verification that the safety mat is correctly wired and linked to the mat controller. The STTS regulator pulses and checks the safety system, unlike the open switch steel mat systems. This ensures that the mat wiring has not jumpered, been bypassed or shorted outside of the control box. It also prevents an unsafe automatic reset of the control (green). As the STTS regulator checks the safety zone, each STTS mat in the safety system has a specific value and address that must be acknowledged and confirmed. A higher degree of safety mat protection is provided with the STTS continuous pulsed monitoring system. The possibility of wire tampering
or jumpering out of safety mats is prevented with the pulse system as
opposed to open switch non-pulsed systems.
  • Uniform Activation- This element contains a standardized on/off signal throughout the complete surface of the mat. This complete activation also provides protection that contains virtually no dead zones. The user is afforded a safer protection system and conformity of domestic and international safety standards.
  • No Dead Zones- This means that it has uniform activation, therefore, the surface of the STTS safety mat system contains no dead zones. With other mats there is a dead zone around the edges of the mat because products and procedures such as double-backed foam tape, O-rings or perimeter sealing are utilized. These dead zones can also be located above and below silicone spacers, elastomers or insulators which act as standoffs throughout the construction of force style mats. The STTS safety mat system assures you that there is a mat detection system with no dead zones as a result of the discovery and use of precise safety mat positioning and layout procedures based on international safety requirements.
